Biography

Mei-Kuei Feu is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Montreal. Through photography, videography and installation, she explores the possibility of creating a connection between mental and concrete space. She is interested in our relationship with nature and our ties to others through it. Fluid matter is at the heart of her artistic research. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from Tung-Hai University (Taiwan) and a Master of Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She has received several public and private grants, including Canada Council for the Arts and Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, for her creative and community art projects. Her works in video installation and photography have been presented in Quebec, British Columbia and Taiwan. With a public presentation, she recently completed a creative residency at the 3e impérial, center d'essai en art actuel de Granby, Canada.
